I know I'm late to the party but I'm watching elden ring for the first time and damn it looks really fun. It also has a good amount of that comfy outdoor/sunlight vibe that DS2 did so well (compared to DS3/BB which were extremely dark). I just wonder if it would run decently on my pc.

There's some performance issues on PC, but not as bad as I feared. I can play it fine on my 5+ year old PC. From pulled off an open world game surprisingly well.

It will be interesting how it fares against Starfield which comes out in November and is the first main Bethesda game since Fallout 4 (which was not that great itself). From what I've seen so far the plot of starfield looks very generic but if the exploration and gameplay are good it could be a big hit.

Elementalism is absolutely incredible, mind-bogglingly high quality. I was in constant awe at the scope of the levels, the excellent action, and the feats of mapping wizardry on display. The game's taken 4 years to come out, it's totally free, and I can't recommend it highly enough to anybody who likes shooters.

Absolutely amazed that it's only half finished, because I got through less than half of this in 6 hours tonight. The soundtrack is also incredibly good, please do yourself a favor and play this. My GOTY 2022 may very well be this.

The project lead for Elementalism stopped by my stream! That's happened a few times with my Doom streams, where mapmakers stop by while I'm playing their work. It's very gratifying getting to thank them personally for their hard work. I do have an account on the Doomworld forums, as well as a few other Doom boards, but I mostly use it to lurk. Self-shilling isn't really in line with the forum culture there, but it might not be a bad idea to just start posting more regularly.

I have ended up pulling in some regular viewers from the Doom side of Twitch, and I've gotten a few coming to my non-Doom stream as well, so it's probably a good idea to try to deepen those ties with the Doom community.

Not wanting to summon is valid. Summoning spirits and wrecking tough bosses with weapon arts is also valid. Personally I do a bit of both so I can't really judge. I draw the line at heavily overleveling and summoning 2+ players for any boss that gives you issues

There's a phenomena called bass-tilting where voices sound deeper the closer they are to a mic. If you've heard someone pretend to bite or eat their mic head as a joke, or move closer towards the mic while in mid sentence, you'll probably know what I mean. The fact she was off-frame for most of the clip (indicated by her model reset to a neutral, frozen stare-ahead pose) means she wasn't sitting in her normal recording position, so somewhat supports the theory.
