Why do Nyanners, Veibae, Iron Mouse and Lilly all have the exact same fucking lisp? Anytime any of these fuckers clips come up and I see them I can't tell who is who because they all sound the same

It's the modern day transatlantic accent for vtuber sluts.

Are you deaf? They sound completely different. Nyanners sounds like a mentally challenged bunny, Vei sounds like she’s doing phone sex 24/7 and Ironmouse sounds like an angsty teen girl. I dont know Lilly.

When I mentioned that nyanners was starting to sound like veibei they told me to take my meds, but yes it's probably not conscious but they are all starting to sound like vei, theres some science behind this but I won't waste my time.

Eurofag here. Of course I can hear the difference in pronunciation of the English language between different non-English speaking nations, but when I hear people from English speaking countries on YouTube and Twitch, I don't see any difference in pronunciation, no matter if this person is from American Seattle, Australian Gold Coast or English Leeds.

I don’t think people know what lisp means. If you want a vutuber who actually has a lisp, and a cute one at that, try Nihmune. She is also certified in CPR.

Yeah the most characteristic thing is the "ch" sound, like when they say "chat." They pronounce it almost like "tsat." And they pronounce the letter "d" slightly like "th." There are other characteristics as well, but I find them hard to describe. Many have adopted it as it is very cute/appealing to listen to. And vei did pioneer it as far as I know. I laughed my ass off when she got pissed at shylily for adopting it, because nyanners had been stealing her speech patterns for over a year already. But I would say shylily has actually mastered the art of cute talking even better than vei, so maybe that's why vei seethed over it.

It’s baby talk. And it’s not a lisp. Lisp is when you can’t pronounce sibilant “s” so you say “th” or “sh” instead

man i forgot about the shylily-vei beef. that shit was hilarious. stupid whores.

>> No.19661541

Baby talk isn't the right way to describe it either. Baby talk would be pronouncing "r" as "w" which funnily enough is mainly a hololive thing, it's funny how all the different companies have their characteristic ways of being cute. But yeah vshojo + shylily definitely isn't baby talk. The only way I can describe it would be a very generic foreign accent, roughly European but doesn't actually correlate with any single European language.

>"r" as "w" which funnily enough is mainly a hololive thing,
is it a holo thing or a gura thing?

>> No.19662096

>>19661854
Gura may have started it, but I know at least kiara does it too, saying "kiawa" or "kiwawa" sometimes. But actually it's not the same as vshojo regardless, because obviously gura and kiara just say it every now and then as a joke, whereas vshojo and shylily use their speech patterns at all times
