Okayu Goemon stuff

Okayu's never played this Goemon game before, or much of the series in general. The only one she touched was the first SNES one, back in high school when a friend of her's was having a "Retro boom".

Okayu finds it funny when an old man's cushions fly out from under him after he loses a minigame. She rather likes gags like that, where something explodes or breaks. It's a weakness of hers.

She says the game is much simpler in the beginning, but then it starts to introduce more mechanics, and gets complicated and harder as it goes on. Okayu got up an hour before stream, and ate some ochazuke. She's realized lately that a light meal is best before streaming. It's important not to get hungry during the long ones, but if she eats too much it starts to make her feel bad as time goes on. Okayu did almost no investigation into this game, so she doesn't know what to expect. It has already put her in the mood for sushi though. The title screen music hasn't helped her in figuring out what kind of game it is either. Regardless, she picks hard mode because she's a gamer; and, to her credit, she completes it too.

Okayu wonders what kind of story this game could have, and chat suggests it could be about ebi sushi trying to escape from a restaurant; she then takes it further. Perhaps the ebi still has things it needs to live for, so it can't just accept its fate of being eaten. The tuna that always shows up as a boss would its senior, Maguro-senpai; a jaded nigiri that wants Ebi-kun to accept his fate. The truth though is that he doesn't want to accept that fate the most of all. Ebi-kun is actually a lot smaller, so Okayu says that fits the senpai kouhai relationship well too. He'd tell Ebi-kun that he's seen others like him before, and that none of them actually want to be eaten. Even the tamago would be crying as they fired beams at Ebi-kun. All this kind of makes her not want to eat sushi, but not that badly.

Okayu likes manga like that, where nobody's truly just a villain. She says it's actually pretty rare in manga for anyone to be 100% evil. It's usually just that their values, and what defines happiness for them, are conflicting with each other's. Nobody can really fight without feeling pain in their heart, nobody can just destroy without meaning.

>A "short" game
Since Okayu's been doing so many long streams lately, she thought she'd pick a game that wouldn't take more than an hour or two. When she saw a game about sushi, she figured it couldn't take that long to beat. She thinks she might have made a mistake to look down on sushi though. It ends up taking her almost 3 hours to beat the game. She promises that tomorrow, for sure this time, will be a shorter stream.

She went singing with Kayoizuma-chan recently, but they got in such a singing high that the few seconds it took to display the score and advice was too much waiting for them, so they turned it off. She remembered in the past that she'd usually get around 90 points for her singing though; never anything in the 98-100 range though. She never really cared about the score, because it's not a good way to actually judge somebody's singing voice(apparently even the original singers can't scoree 100 most of the time). Not to mention that the two of them sing like crazy people when together. Chat wants to sing karaoke with Okayu, and she wants to also; she likes singing with close friends.

In honor of it hitting 2 million views on Youtube, Okayu chooses her own original to end the stream. She reminds people that it can be sung at karaoke now too as the ending card leads into the superchat reading.

Okayu sang a lot of songs she's not used to actually performing today. To get ready for it, she spent a lot of time practicing them yesterday. This is probably why her voice was a bit scratchy during yesterday's Sushi Party stream. She might have practiced a bit much, but it was just too fun. She finds singing is a good stress reliever for her. She had some honey and cough drops before today's stream though, so her voice was fine. She also woke up at a proper hour, and didn't nap right before the stream. When somebody says her voice sounds exceptionally good today, she says it's just her neutral voice because she didn't screw it up is all.

Tempura shrimp, since it was mentioned in the kuma song. She thinks they're cute. She preferred eating them with onions sauce when she was younger, but now she likes others like oroshi ponzu.

It's coming up soon. Okayu thought the illustration for it was really cute. She explains that the artist was Kishida Mel, the illustrator for the Atelier series. It really moved her to see that art. She says to look forward to the performance.

Okayu lined up a bunch of songs that she liked and wanted to sing, but hadn't really done before. She's happy she was able to sing them all. She's also been listening to One Last Kiss by Utada Hikaru lately, though she can't sing it yet.

Though Okayu generally does membership streams once per month(barring guerrillas), she's not really sure what to do for April's stream. March was drunk ASMR, but she's not sure what to do at all. She can't believe March is over already; looking back, it was a really busy month for her. April should be fun though; she has a lot planned.

Okayu's making a new music video(no surprise there). She likes to try and release them periodically. The three things she has as her goal this year: more goods, a new MV every 2-4 months, and to stream lots of fun games.

Students are graduating and moving to new places, class changes and preparations for the students who aren't graduating, and working adults are always busy. She thanks everybody for taking the time to come and watch her streams, and apologizes to those who want to catch them but can't. She's happy that they have those feelings, but says she'll be sad if they destroy their health just to catch her live.

Okayu muses on how the trains in Tokyo are so much easier to use than the ones back in the countryside. The ones in Tokyo have all their doors open automatically, but in the snowy countryside Okayu lived in, the trains required you to push a button to get on or off. She made the mistake of not knowing that the first time she tried to get off of one, and developed a fear of riding them, so she'd avoid taking the train whenever she could.
