I'm curious if anyone know what sort of ad campaign Nijisanji did to promote Noctyx. While I previously ran into a Luxiem ad I didn't see one at all for Noctyx. Where were those ads targeted at since I don't think they rolled them towards people that watch vtubers since I have yet to see a mention on this board that they saw an ad roll (barring people that block ads). Drawing in over double to even three times the views on Vox's debut makes me wonder what they may have done differently this time around. Were there any general niche orientated publications that Noctyx got a mention in that Luxiem did not have?

Honestly, if we're being consistent and keeping the "only 1 view is counted with multiple streams open" theory, then it's their debut numbers + 26k on the main NijiEN channel, which brings them up to the 80-90k range HoloEN got.

It's a massive increase to say the least compared to Luxiem and makes me wonder what HoloEN3 will get.
Council's debuts were mega scuffed anyways due to the last minute rescheduling and they're all at 1 mil+ views now except for Sana.

Noctyx's subcounts are still very low tho (Some had higher peaks their current subs), so either they just got culled or people watched the debuts but didn't sub? It's weird.

I don't know how much validity there is to it. While he is correct that it could have exposed more to vtubers, we don't know if it's just to the extent as visitors at the zoo looking at the drama or people being hooked into this form of entertainment. Not only that everything has been about Hololive so if it did convert into attention to Noctyx and Nijisanji EN how was it advertised to make people aware of this? Due to the draw it leads me to believe they used different tactics from Luxiem to draw an audience from other spaces since they already have attracted the initial Luxiem audience. I also believe that people really underestimated their designs as well. They wouldn't have shoved them out if they didn't have female appeal. Maybe not the same people that would love the style Luxiem has but a different subset to potentially draw in even more new people.

Luxiem went through the same thing. They didn't jump to 100k the day they debuted. All other EN corpos don't have the need for the viewers to mass sub before debut and everyone all at once. You can see it in small corpos with one member having 70k or more subs than the next person while the next person has around 20k~30k subs. Then people just not subbing to them until they do their debut.

We will see if Council broke this trend when it comes to Holo on the EN side or if EN gen 3 will revitalize some peoples interest or not.

Interactive, swift games with a lot happening tend to attract more chatters, and big names like Peko/Gura are notorious for having ridiculously fast chat. Chatting streams often get really high numbers too for chat speed, since they’re interacting directly with the streamer.
