Man, Ai's graduation concert was so good. I used to only watch Ai for years until I got into FBK and the rest of Hololive so it is kinda hitting hard, not going to lie. I literally looked up Hololive because of one of AI's short clips where she accused the viewer of watching Hololive and Nijisanji instead of her, and that's kind of what happened to me. Now I feel bad for not sticking around, although I am very thankful it led to me finding Fubuki.

I've been keeping up with Ai-chan, but only a bit since I happen to follow her friends.
It wasn't that long before the China event that Hololive even got popular. But before then many Holo members did collab with vtubers that were outside the company. So technically they could have too. But iirc that was the time Ai-chan was dealing with the clone stuff and was more focused on videos than streaming. It's only recently that she started streaming. There was never an opportunity.

My sense of time from around that period is kinda of fucked, but thinking about it, you are kind of right. I feel like I had been watching Hololive forever when China happened but it hadn't even been half a year I think. Pretty sure the Ai clone Saga happened in late 2019 until early 2020 which is pretty much right when Hololive started gaining serious momentum. They did some live streaming on the AI gaming channel then, but now that I think of it I don't think there was any collabs or anything like ever, only between the three Ais. China happened only a few months later around September, so I guess could never have happened. It sucks that she didn't do all that much stuff with Sora though, there would have been enough time for that to happened.

From Hakos going "はじめまして" today it seems pretty clear that they have not talked very much if at all ever since. So I was wondering why she approached her in the first place and then never acted upon it at all, that's what I found a bit unusual.

Got unlucky trying to get the vandalier. 3 games where the two birds didn't come in. Died a few times from inattention too. Like she got the evolved axes, her character moved at exatcly the same pace as they did, so she move straight forward while more and more scythes spawned on her. That was funny until ,she ran straight into a boss monster and it killed her.

I was listening to the space while working and it has been a few days so I might have missed that part, but I only remember her saying that she wants to do a bit more offline stuff again in general after the pandemic calms down in response to someone asking her about that, and then she said that while she enjoys doing them from time to time, offline collabs aren't exactly her strong point because she isn't that great at acting natural in a group setting, she is better at talking on stream etc.
