Just to clear up misunderstandings here, Mel was originally her own thing(might have been labeled gen 0 in the future or some other group be formed like GAMERS) and not part of gen 1 until Chris got the boot.

You can see Sora just below the big 5 with Roboco. Nijisanji is at the top being a group of vtubers under the one brand. Hololive followed suit later on with Gen 1 etc.
