Well they seemed geared up to try to just wait out the outrage and paper things over with their statement the other week, but now turned around and went "nope rushia actually must be thanos snapped because she leaked."

I would assume, Korekore came to Cover and showed them the info Rushia gave him and asked if any of this stuff could be talked about without them suing him, then they immediately turned and Old Yeller'd Rushia. Or it could be someone else but 90% it's him, he outright said he had a lot more info that he didn't even wanna share (as in he knew it was probably too sensitive).

I would imagine at the minimum Rushia showed him full logs of talks with her manager and such to try to exonerate herself, only, she really shouldn't have given a single word of that to an outsider much less a dude explicitly there to spread rrats and drama. The other weird thing is Cover said that basically there was misinfo in the leaks and in essence saying Rushia lied about something. So.. we may never know what that was but Rushia both leaked and also maybe tried to tweak the leaks to give a certain impression. This is the problem with leaking and why NDAs exist and have 0 tolerance, the leaker has control over the information to shape it to a personal narrative or even misrepresent the conclusions entirely.

In their VERY FIRST statement (which happened about a week ago) about all the MafuMafu bullshit, they said they were looking into an information leak. They wouldn't fire Rushia in a snap decision, there was probably a large debate going on between many of the corporate heads about how to deal with this breach of contract. Because that's exactly what she did with the leaks, and COVER would've just been trying to decide if these leaks were worth losing their largest cash cow. Also I have heard that there was a like glitch with gtaV auto enabling discord notifs but that's yet to be confirmed so the fact that message was shown on stream in the first place MIGHT not be anyone's fault except a glitch, OR Rushia just completely sperged out. I'm failing to see how this was anyone's fault except Rushia being stupid

She should have been punished IN THE SAME DAY she added mafumafu to discord, not after the message was delivered during a livestream. I doubt anyone thinks she magically decided to add mafumafu that same day, so any manager that failed to delete him, punish her, and make sure he's not added back again are at fault.
The GTA thing doesn't matter, if you do your archive reps you can find that there are several ways that OBS fails and in her case it's probably because she captured her screen from a second computer. But that wouldn't matter in the first place if she didn't have a personal contact in her work discord.
