I just know I'm the kind of person that, when I'm in a bad state of things due to personal happenings, the last goddamn thing I want is someone to say they feel sorry for me and hope I feel better soon. I'd much rather be left to my own devices to deal with it. Having someone essentially pity you for things beyond your control feels almost demeaning.
I can't presume that's how she or anyone else feels but it informs my lack of desire to pester others with such empty words (I don't consider dumping them here the same as telling them directly or else I'd keep the thought entirely to myself, I guess)

That’s fair. Considering that streaming and being a vtuber depends on wanting people to support you publicly there’s less of a chance of it being seen as empty support. But that’s like the game of being a vtuber and it’s hard to tell if someone sadposting wants to be playing that game with their actual negative emotions in contrast to when they’re streaming for fun and to be happy/successful. I think there's a big difference between being a person with opinions that you usually keep to your chest but occasionally they leak out and being someone that feels the need to make your opinions everyone else's problem, and this goes tenfold for when you're any kind of entertainer. Basically I won't begrudge you if it comes up but I will if you make it come up, if that makes sense. Though that said any time someone talks politics (or any controversial subject) you need to be prepared to A) probably lose a few viewers since a lot of people really don't wanna see/hear that when they're watching some anime girl play minecraft or apex legends or whatever, and B) corral the chat since a lot of other people really do want an excuse to just go the fuck off anywhere they can.

Hard to tell. There is appeal in the novelty of it, but it would depend on how it looks in motion and what else the streamer themselves can offer to make viewers stick around. I can imagine the washed out colors not catching the eye as easily on thumbnails, so that might be a bit of a hindrance.

I'd applaud the effort though. It's a good concept.

i'm not sure how she is specifically doing it but, if I wanted to try and replicate it i would probably take the background image and make it into a video file using Resolve or Premiere; both of them have ways that you can use that swaying camera style effect; Resolve has a filter that applies it to any image while with premerie you'd have to manually make the image sway
with the former you might not get a perfect loop but it would be easier to make but the latter means you'd have the ability to control how it loops in exchange for a harder to make effect
