>her alcoholism, and even drug problems escalate to a point you decide to cut ties with her because she's already a lost cause
>after a while she comes back to you, and you accept her out of the love you two once had, but can't shake off the feeling that another episode like that is bound to happen
>her friend circle is renowned, her interactions with old friends, and even though these are apparently good for her, she's still rebounding into the behaviors that got her into this mess
>you start to think she has a double life wherein she hates you, her friends and her job, but don't want to focus so much about it, because you know she's hurt and emotionally unstable
