I love it, but I'm a big SNKuck, so my opinion is always gonna be biased.
It feels more like KoF14.5 than a brand spanking new game tbdesu. Lots of re-used assets and animations etc. But everybody got new moves and combo routes and Max mode isn't as gormless as it was last game.
Also it's got rollback meme netcode so you can get washed by Brazilians with low latency.
Do recommend.
My only autistic complaints are the roster is iffy - not the size of it but more they only really went for safe, normalized characters. Everybody is roughly the same height, weight, speed, etc. There's only 3 big bodies and no midgets.) That and the only single player content is grinding away at Arcade mode to get all the unlocks.

Get it if you like fighting games, basically.

Basically makes it so I can overlay a picture of the chuuba onto the Koikatsu window, you can configure the opacity as you please. Also remove the window from under it and compare it to a regular opacity version of the picture for sanity checks.

Practice mostly. There's a couple guides in /kkg/ that you can gradually start utilizing. De-bulbing heads, removing blue shadows, advanced bonemelding, material editing, fucking about with textures. You learn little by little, but start with eyeballing ref sheets and trying to just get the shape right with what skills you have. Don't be afraid to revisit old models and continue tweaking them until you genuinely cannot find anything more to do. This is probably easiest to do with your personal oshi rather than going down a to-do list which is why I try to encourage more people to get into KK. Looking good so far though. I find that the first goal that you should try to achieve is to make the card recognizable at a glance. Details can be corrected and refined later. Get the basics done first.
