I should probaly sleep sometime today but instead of going to sleep ealier i worked on the archive a bit.

The full mouse subathon is currently uploading to mega but i will stop archiving it if it doesent stop after 30 days as that is my cut off point of archiving anything of this subathon (and yes that inludes the seperat nyan colab vods) as im too tired to keep up with this shit.

I looked at your pastebin but I didn't see anything about what could be done if a stream that is currently live does not have the vod publicly visible in the "recent broadcasts" section. I tried using the m3u8 link of the live broadcast but it went dead as soon as the stream ended. Is there anything that could be done in this situation? Basicly this >>18751634 If a channel doesent have VoDs enabled then the m3u8 method wont work at all.

If a channel has vods enabled you can grab the m3u8 and still get the vod if it gets "deleted" but if the channel doesent have vods enabled you have to live record the stream using streamlink you can also use twitch stream recorder to set it up so it automaticly records a vod.Links for these programms:

Alright, at least I didn't fuck something up with the link. I've had the idea to start live-recording some things before, but the issue I keep running into is that recording software will pick up all system sounds and not just the audio from the video source, which would either require me to be a stoic monk that does nothing but sit and watch the stream in its entirety or dedicate an entire machine to just recording streams, something I don't have the resources for. Unless there is a way to separate the audio while recording?

Streamlink does exactly what want it records the stream and only records the stream audio and you dont have to watch the stream while it records the stream as it records it in the background: https://streamlink.github.io/cli.html

Obviously you have to let your pc turned on so the software can actualy run but it records the streams in the background so it will only grab the audio from the stream and no system sounds from windows.

Its basicly a recording software that records the stream in the background as an example what i use to record myau streams is yt archive you input the link and the video recording quality and it records the stream in the background while you can do whatever else you want on your pc at the same time even if you play audio on your browser streamlink will only record the audio of the stream.
