They're both good and inept. Clippers and youtube algo did lots of the legwork that got them fame, but their setup of clippable cute stuff to begin with does come from their inherent structure/design approach with having most of the girls be kind of like a moe SoL comedy with some light (but never serious) yuri thrown in sometimes.
