Great question, Elira! There's a couple people in the FNAF universe known as the Purple Guy, but all are of Afton descent if we're going solely off of canon games. The one you're referring to is William Afton, otherwise known as the "man behind the slaughter" colloquially -- he is the one behind the murders that took place during the initial FNAF games, and is called the "purple guy" because he was portrayed initially as this purple dude before the lore linked him to the murders in the games. This "Purple Guy" -- William Afton -- has canonical significance beyond his murders, though. He's one of the original founders of Fredbear's Family Diner, the precursor to Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, and is quite the skilled engineer, having created the Funtime Animatronics, who were the stars behind Circus Baby's Pizza World, a planned "sister location" to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza to help William Afton in grabbing children. He designed them with child-capture features, such as Parental Voice Sync and Replay and Parental Tracking. Spooky! However, these implementations would backfire on Afton -- prior to the grand opening of Circus Baby's Pizza World, his own daughter, Elizabeth, had grown especially fond of Circus Baby, the star animatronic of the franchise, and she begged her father to let him play with her. He, knowing of the dangers that lurked within Circus Baby, forbid her to play with her. But she insisted, snuck over to play with Circus Baby, and then... Ironically, William Afton had lost his own daughter to the same machines he had designed to rob other parents of their children. Knowing this, he scrapped all plans to open CBPW and blamed that lack of an opening on gas leaks. His daughter's soul, at some point, began to inhabit Circus Baby, but that's a story for another time.

There're a lot, more than half of the negative posts are, shitposters in the main thread. It's been like that for months now, just have to learn to ignore them. Sometimes it really ruined the mood but I don't see it changing any time soon especially with Luxiem getting more numbers everyday.

Can we talk about the Luxiem game show on Friday? I have no idea what it's gonna be. It'd be kino if it's similar to the Rosemi game show that nijien had a few months ago.

I think it's gonna be fun since all the Luxiem collabs have been pretty good so far. I'm still kinda weirded out by the Overwatch think because I can't believe people still play it after all that shit that happened to Blizzard. I wonder if people get filtered for that.

Though it seems to me like a lot of people watching the boys don't really care about the games at all which I find super weird. It's hard and boring to watch Shu play five hours of mahjong without knowing the rules to anything.

Cole Cassidy is a cool name because it invokes Butch Cassidy. That's not the problem with Overwatch. The problem with Overwatch is that they can't stand people playing the game their own way and feel obligated to enforce a meta, to the extent they force you to queue up as a role just to play the game, and if you pick anything but support enjoy having long-ass queue times. All the drama certainly didn't help Blizzard but even before then it was clear they didn't know how to run a game.

I feel like for the time being it'd have to be Nijimale EN because while Luxiem is fairly popular outside of the board, it feels like this general struggles to stay alive at times. Eventually when there are too many waves we may need to split them up but until then, consolidating them into one place seems like a good move.
