One more tidbit, both Pomu and Kiara played Diablo2 growing up, and had fond memories of it. Pomu through her dad, and Kiara's family in general were Blizzard stans. When asked recently if she would play Diablo3, Pomu said no, since she played D2 and would prefer that instead.

I think it would be funny if they could make a new character together in D2 Remastered and complete the game as a collab.

I think this logic is flawed. When people come to this conclusion, they don't consider that a body above HoloEN can dictate HoloEN's strategy. Maybe someone at Hololive/Cover HQ is the one blocking NijiEN collabs with all of Hololive. To me that makes the most sense. Aside from EN, Nijisanji is a competitor with Hololive when it comes to exposure. It makes sense that Cover would want to keep NijiEN out of as many minds as possible for continued HoloEN dominance. This would justify blocking Ollie's collab.
