Getting to the actual point i came here again the creator of twitch leecher had the stupid idea to remove the option to download streams while they are live so i had to look for an alternative as im currently downloading parts of iron mouses subathon for my nyanners archive and i found twitchdownloader:

It takes a bit more work then twitch leecher as you have to input the link to the vod yourself (you can get it from newest video under the "recent broadcasts" tab) but at least it does its job unlike twitch leecher and it has more options to download clips and twitch chat.

Just as an example a screenshot of the programm: https://files.catbox.moe/h6vidh.PNG its pretty self explanatory as to how to use it.

Joining teams has it's benefits. It allows new team members to quickly climb the twitch ladder if they're committed and actually good. Being a large indie streamer is like 25% talent / 70% marketing / 5% luck. Joining a team helps cover the marketing and luck portion allowing the streamer to focus more on just making good content. Otherwise being an indie is just fine or even preferable because you get more control over your own stream and don't have to sign any contracts other than the twitch partnerships.

Personally I'd prefer to stay indie, but if a team offered decent enough incentives I could be swayed.
