I'm trying to go with the last anon's lore about the space station idea and why technology got nerfed. My idea is the station had a hard/crash landing which destroyed a lot of tech. And there's no easy way to replace it without establishing factories for decades because of the lack of manpower. We will have grain fields. Though we live in a lower tundra so our climate is Canada/Russia. The crater is also useful for mining and salvaging scrap from the landing. Thoughts?

Sana needs to get it together soon. Even with tight deadlines there's a reasonable threshold of baseline activity to uphold, just like any contractor returning their emails or doing basic PR. Management should be coaching her on how to handle social media in particular, assuming they care enough.

Really fighting the temptation to tweet to Sana's roommate. It shouldn't be so hard for her to update both accounts whenever she's on, especially when she knows one account has been left hanging for a week and still has a pinned schedule thats over a month old.

I really am starting to worry that something bigger is happening around her, but hopefully that something will just be revealed as whatever she has been working on. Fauna mentioned also being really busy on something that had a hard deadline for Monday, so maybe it's related. However, Fauna was still able to relay that information -in a stream- while also collabing with Bae during the week and making regular twitter posts, so...

Literally all she needs to do right now is stream more and stream a variety. She can still do endurances too. I don't think VOD time really matters at this point unless she's trying to boost her overall growth rate. She's always pulled in progressively more numbers the more often she stays active, including the Pokemon endurances, so she just needs to be active.

But her channel basically flatlines while she's gone, since she has very little other edited video content and few clippers, and her returns will rapidly decrease this year with every week hiatus. If she really wants her channel to go somewhere she needs to make the adjustments now.

I don't think the issue is really about wanting Sana to ever grow to Gura size. and I don't think that makes sense for Sana anyway. My concern would be her losing a lot of the support she currently gets. The last month into this dungeon-week are the first period that has shown a clear drop in all of her numbers across the board, from her rate of Twitter follows to SC earnings, where she used to be fine. Memberships are probably about to plummet if they haven't already, and she'll never get those back by just doing Pokemon.

How she pivots her approach from this point might more or less decide the life of her channel. The recent fumbling of her schedules, Holoscopes, and lack of activity on community tabs and social media are signaling to future supporters how seriously she takes her role as a content creator right now. She says she's been overwhelmed with work, but has never talked in much detail about what that really means. Meanwhile, her companions are still finding ways to interact with their audience while dealing with vocal chord problems, broken computers, being sick and coughing on the mic, squeezing time inbetween classes, and some while also taking care of pets and handling other projects. So what does stress really feel like for Sana in this context? If she can't share more, and keep her followers regularly updated, then the pattern of avoidance just starts painting a legit bad look.

I don't even see the point of Cover having managers if they can't force a sit-down with her after this month to figure things out. Otherwise, she'd better have been working on something mindblowing with results that can speak for her once we see it.

Managers main jobs are to ensure the talents are able to do what they want within the confines of protecting them from stuff like demonetization, copyright strikes etc. When it comes to the streaming habits of a talent they really have no say in that unless the talent themselves come to them about it because a talents own personal life or issues could be the reason for it. They don't take a proactive role in this otherwise Ayame and Shion would have regular streaming schedules.

And that's why I think this current stream hiatus will have a bigger impact than every other break she's had to take so far. Her sudden dead silence at this odd time is opening the door for everyone's thoughts and theories about what's "really" going on with her, and might even cause some people to believe they are part of the problem now. Coming off of the breaks last year, it's potentially the start of a bad spiral.

I think we at least need to see her through to the completion of whatever this is that she's been working on before we make too many judgment calls though. However, eventually Sana is going to need to make more of an effort to ensure that things will be handled better next time, or at least give us a better idea of when these crunch periods tend to happen to her. If Sana was hoping to keep her streamer life and work life totally separate, that approach has pretty much failed. She needs to find a better balance, and ideally she should put that new plan into action as soon as she's back.

The lore I came up with is that there is a crater from a hard landing that nerfed our tech. So we're dependent on earth resources for now. The station orbits the planet, but we do haveca settlement around the crater. We have greenhouses to grow food. The crater itself is good for surface mining. It even collects water when it rains when it rains. /nasa/ is self sufficient, but they lack the total manpower to run a full navy and airforce for full conquest. We do have weapons in the space station and on the ground, including nukes. So it's unwise to threaten /nasa/.

We're just a colony of bread dogs trying to fix our FTL drives to go back to space with Sana.

well of course a big company typically wouldn't wait 1.5 years on some splash art. however, something that's been in the company's to-do list for over a year, with art already done for it, could still have additional art requests that need to be fulfilled around its release time. speaking a little from my own experience on that one.
heck, a lot of times it's not even the drawing time that brings things down to the wire, it's waiting multiple days for some board of directors to grant approval or send revision notes while the deadline stays the same.

So for worldbuilding thread how advanced is /nasa/'s weapons. On one hand we're the smallest Hololive EN general so we don't have armies. On the other hand we live in a space station. I'm at least aiming for modern guns until the overral tech level has been decided on. The reason why I say it's theoretically possible to build nukes/bombs is because we have a nuclear reactor in the station. Building such weapons will be impossible because /nasa/ has to build factories from scratch, which they lack the man power and capital to do. Besides its in our prime directive to never share our advanced technology to natives. So nukes stay secret in the station's computers.

The station's AI assistants are virtual bread dogs. Bread dogs will assist you with any programs you need based on your rank and authorization. Only Sana herself has authorization to initiate the station's self-destruct sequence for example. Civilians will have basic functions like communication, databases (internet), health scans, etc. But there are some functions like space station commands that are locked to sectors and companies like engineers, laboratories, and military.
