Just something regarding formatting - I share the opinion that the chapter split was unnecessary. 2k to 5k words per chapter are quite fine imo, some anons put in even more. Also, if you link the new chapter at the end of the previous one, it would be even easier to re-read or catch up as a new reader in the long run.
