That's a good question, I wonder if the Twitch API has any endpoints for that or if you'd have to scrape it from the website. I know the chat user list for example isn't officially in the API, you have to get it the same way the website gets it and if you do it too much you can get rate limited and twitch pages constantly fuck up while loading for a couple months (speaking from experience)

The line between VRChatters and vtubers is thin, but one predates the another.
It is remarkably easy for old school VRC streamers to add the vtuber tag streams and call themselves a vtuber just to trendhop, so easy in fact most of them did it.
The difference lies with their content. Vtubers is a name usually reserved for those who borrow from the Japanese streaming style and traditions, and they are usually influenced by idol culture (which is more than just unicornfagging).
Most VCR streamers and ex-facecammers don't realize that using that tag creates certain expectations from their audience that they are not able to meet, hence generating a negative reaction. This is most obvious in the case of alt-tubers who have their own way of doing things.

tl:dr: you aren't a vtuber until you do a karaoke stream, even if you are shit at singing. Your audience is also expecting you to get good at it too eventually. This is the actual idol experience.

The orphan in particular took like me 200 fucking tries. By the time I finally killed him I knew every single pixel of that fucker.
