I wouldn't say "complicated", but I can't see her vibing with the BR-lootershooter game style either.
Paladins worked mostly because (well let's be real, most importantly because Ame was there, but still) its nature is rather beginner friendly. The arenas are small, so you're not getting lost in open fields of nothing. You're fully kitted out right from the start and don't have to waste the opening minutes of every match scavenging for scraps. The battles are full team vs team, so that allows individuals with varying skill levels some slack and be carried more, instead of Apex where it's all just small squads duking it out against all others, much more scary.
And the most important thing, there's very little downtime and fast time-to-kill action. You drop in and you get to pewpewpew the enemy within seconds. And if you get killed (and as a beginner, she's going to get killed a lot, so this is important), there's very little penalty, you just respawn and are back in the action quickly, it's not a match-ender.
In Apex, it can be much more frustrating. First, the "boring" part of scavenging with little action, and then when you finally get some enemy contacts, often in the worst case it's over in seconds, you don't even know what hit you and boom you're right out of the match for good and have to queue again for another match. Very little reward vs high penalty for a beginner, so probably not as fun for her.

This is not really a knock on anybody, just the nature of things. Sometimes you don't really hit off with a person, no harm done, just go separate ways instead of trying to force it. In the first months of EN there were a lot of JPs really curious about their new popular colleagues, but some collabs never happened (Marine...), some happened only once but never amounted to much further (most likely explanation - those JPs were just curious about the then-booming ENs, wanted to try to collab to see what all the fuss was about, but didn't really connect, or their curiosity was sated enough that they had their fill, also the "EN boom" has mostly plateaued by now, so that they're not treated as precious prizes anymore but "just" another sidebranch), and only a select few lead to lasting or somewhat regular connections. Kiara has for example Nene and to a lesser degree Subaru who she's relatively close with on the JP side, Ina has hung with the Gen5 a few times, even Ame, bless her heart, played with Roboco and Mel multiple times. Gura (btw, you now remember the Sorairo Days cover with Matsuri. Yeah, that came out of nowhere, and went nowhere also...) is probably the most isolated of Myth, aside from that little thing with Shion.

I always though it was a rather stupid notion. Even for Kiara, streaming 30 hours a week is a rather heavy week. There's 168 hours in a week. Remove a third of that for sleeping purpose, you're left with 112 hours. Say Kiara, or whoever else, have 10 hours per week dedicated to various recording (which is a VERY generous estimate, I doubt they have more than 2 hours a week), and you're left with 72 hours of free time in a week, or three entire days. And that's in the scenario where you stream 30 hours a week, which is a fuckton for holos. Nobody in hololive "don't have the time" to send a tweet or to interact with their community. If they don't do it, they just don't want to.

It's her own fault. She always pushes things to far and goes full yuri bait mode. No one else does it in her gen. She got some hate from teakeks who don't want yuri shit pushed on their oshi, thats why she talked about it on members stream. She should talk about it in a public stream as well. and tone it the fuck down.
