That's pretty standard for a big IP contract. Sana's a pro so she'd be fine in that regard.

I doubt they'd have her on as a Lead anyway though, just a character designer, but it would be pretty cool to see a Pokemon game that actually tried to look like her art.

I was never a fan of a lot of the art they'd put on the US video game covers, but when you learn that a lot of those paintings had to be knocked out with an overnight deadline (before Photoshop),it really gave me a different level of respect.

I know this is 4chan, but can we at least, on this thread, acknowledge that a middleground exists betwen Anti and White knight?

I prefer clips with less editing too, but I like that Crumb puts out consistent content and I think the editing on some clips legitimately elevated the material (particularly in earlier clips like:[ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h4S-tNANgmo ] that don't go crazy and highlight the good stuff).
I don't want to shield him from valid criticism, because I do think some clips go overboard, but I'm never putting a gun to his head either. He's trying to stand out in a crowded field while working on his editing skills, and it appears to have paid off so far as his viewers and subcount have grown by a lot. I'd like to see how his content and his channel can grow while still staying primarily Sana-themed.
He's also one of the only Sana clippers I've seen that's willing to go back into the archives for clips during times where Sana is busy. A lot of good Sana moments still aren't clipped, so it's nice that somebody does it since obviously a lot of us don't have the time.

Honestly I've sensed like a mutual trust between Kronii and Sana that I'm not sure Kronii openly shows to too many others in the group, at least on stream. I think it's probably one of the reasons Kronii doesn't usually have her guard up when Sana does make a jab.

That's not to say that they're especially close, but so far their relationship seems like the "good roommate" kind, where Kronii can trust Sana to just drop by quietly and not steal food from the fridge or complain about little things on the floor, if that makes any sense.

While Sana's had her bantz, it's usually only after something sets the tone, whereas a lot of the girls seem to almost always try to get under Kronii's skin as early as they can (Bae was getting a little stepped on by Kronii in their early collabs so I can understand Bae pushing back on that). It's all in good fun, but I feel like Sana is one of the few that still lets Kronii feel comfortable just being a plain dork, and I think Kronii could vibe with that if they were able to collab more. When they started ther little click together in Monster Hunter, that was cute.

Probably helps that Sana has started 0 drama with Kronii in Minecraft either. Kronii knew whenever Sana was on that she was actually working on something and not just screwing around.

On the topic of collab partners, I actually think Sana's best collab partner so far has been Mumei.
Which is kinda interesting because I think Mumei has collectively had some of the best and worst collab moments from Council.

MCNs have more priveleges with copyright. MCNs are sort of like corporations. They have more legal defenses with channel stuff than individual channels. Also MCNs will allow Cover to streamline collecting donations through one network as opposed to individual channels.

Something I was wondering is if Cover would ever want to take this MCN position we're talking about and try to organize something like contracting Clippers for each talent.
So you would end up with Cover taking in handfuls on current EN Clippers and now paying one to handle Sana content exclusively, and maybe hire another to handle Sana content with certain language subs, and so forth. That's almost kind of like what happens already but with a financial incentive and hard enforcement.

But like you said, I'm not sure these channels would ever want to give up their independence. You'd probably also have a bunch of like Gura or Kronii or KFP channels that wouldn't want to focus on anyone else even if they were paid.

Her Gimmick is endurance streams and it fills in a niche that isn't done on EN. Kiara does long streams, but it's 50/50 with game time and talk time.
That being said, I don't actually know if it is her gimmick.
Besides Celeste, every endurance game has been from a franchise she knows, so she can binge it for hours, but its all been game of the month stuff that everyone else dives into too, so her game choice doesn't stand out. We're not going to find out what her norm is anytime soon either, the rest of Feb is going to be Pokemon Arc, then she's probably going to finish Metroid Dread, horoscopes backlog and after that is the new Kirby.

Before her break, Sana was picking up a lot of different games from what everyone else was playing, they weren't cheap asset store games either, and she played them for about 3 hours a piece, so that could be closer to her default. Part of me likes the idea of someone playing more obscure, quality games, but Sana is her best when messing around with things she's familiar with. Sana is the only EN member that hasn't settled yet so it's hard to tell what she wants to do long-term.

Fuck me, it's just made me realize how much of a massive slump all of Hololive has been since Pokemon came out.

I don't think the Gimmick is so much her stream length as it is her near endless positivity.
She's maintained a crazy energy level for every game except maybe SOMA Her experience with that Warioware boss was a dedicated slog that for sure most of the other girls would have probably used a checkpoint for, or put off for another stream.
