I don't even know how many virgins the producer sacrificed just to make Katawa Shoujo. It has no Kickstarter, no central committee, no vision.

I guess you can create something akin to that right now, seeing you can actually pay freelancers on Fiverr to create music, artwork and scriptwriters to make your game but once you introduced money on the equation, SOVL is basically non-existent right out of the gate.

genuine shame too. The holos have some really talented animators and artists making them content for free. Many fan-made io games too

if you can redirect even a fraction of that talent and passion and combine it into making something cool you really could have something
