I have a question guys, with youtube new rules going on, if i left a livestream muted in another tab do they still get my view? i ask because i do this with every vtuber i like and i usually have like 10 tabs with streams open and they might not even count :(

For all we know. Muting, alt tabbing, not commenting in chat and not being subscribed can all not count as a live watcher

Even before this current shitfest muting (via yt interface) a streamer meant that they didn't get the view. So all your efforts up till now were probably wasted i'm afraid.
You'd have to have them on very low vol and the one you're actually focused on on higher so that you can actually hear.

Now? Nobody knows if even that will work.
Best you can do is leave a like and hope that small token can appease the almighty algorithm. I continue to have a bunch open on low vol. when focusing on a primary one but leave likes on all.

well you can just have it unmuted and use an addon that mutes tabs.
