Snuffy was a friend of Silvervale since summer 2020, but they didn't do much together at that time. It was only till a collab stream on christmas with Silver, Vei and Snuffy, that she started getting traction. She started collabing with Vshojo part after that and getting raided by them a lot. Vshojo was inclining heavily during that period, so those viewers also started trinkling down to Snuffy as well. She used to have a CCV average of 1k-2k viewers, untill she redebuted into the raccoon she's know today in february/march, and became even more popular.

The ones that debuted on Vshojo's official starting day saw a slight boost in numbers, but most of them were pretty established by that point.
The oes that came after, which are Froot, Hime and Vei, saw very big boosts each. Vei shot up to 8k, while Froot and Hime were brand new, so they shot up from 0 to many thousands of viewers. Hime sunk obviously because she never streams, but still gets like 2k viewers whenver she does.

Maybe so, but I still feel that its quite an investment to make.
My understanding is that it started out as just a server to mess around in for Dream and his friends, and then overtime as certain people joined somehow became a prank war server and then after another certain person joined morphed into improv RP theater and then just spiraled into some grand narrative.

Sounds very hard to replicate, even on a smaller and less ambitious scale.
Starting with a small group and gradually expanding could maybe work, but I am not sure if it is worth the commitment.
