The beauty of jumpcast was that it was random, since mori was just hanging out in vc and anyone can join in, and it felt very natural because there really wasn't a direction to begin with due to having jump king be the main focus of the stream.
Having the podcast itself be the main spotlight makes it forced and artificial as all hell since they actually have to come up with shit to talk about now or else they run out of content.
First couple of episodes are going to be kino, but I feel like it's doomed to fail just like how fish tank did.

that is on hiatus ("prep for next season" yeah whatever, we know what that means), and thank god for that. It overstayed its welcome hard and was pretty much a dud at the end and fizzled out like a wet fart.
Most of the problem stem from it involving too many people in too many timezones, so it's always a bitch to organize. So you get only sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart, and in the meantime the girls forgot everything and always needed a "uh, what were we doing again" plot recap and "uh, how does this work again?" rules reminder, so there was alot of wasted downtime. Also (timezones again) because you can't make it right for everyone, there was ALWAYS one or more girl in the group (sometimes all of them) that were pretty much deadweights because of tiredness, as it's always too early / too late for at least some of them, so you have grumpy people not really participating.

In the end it was probably a mercy kill to stop it here, as dragging it out any longer would only lay bare the misery. For the future, if (big if) that project ever comes back, I hope they learn from the failures of the first attempt and only do shorter focused one- or two-shot sessions with a smaller but more committed group
