99 percent of the game's toxicity is concentrated within it's ranked environment so if you just play it casually in normals then it's a perfectly fun game.

I was a tryhard between 2012 and 2016 and I absolutely hated it by the end and ended up quitting. I returned to it casually in 2020 to scatch the MOBA itch and have been having a fun on and off relationship with the game since.

Having a bad attitude and siphoning the fun out of the game for your team is a way to make them stop wanting to win.

Niji has always been cautious about perms, so you will rarely see them play a game they have no explicit permissions or that are openly open to be played by everyone.
They have considerably more ease to play games as livers often just turn off monetization during streams of games without explicit/clear perms and management tends to be pretty quick at getting them anyway, but sometimes it takes them a while, especially for NijiEN, which makes sense as they are dealing with western companies and not japanese ones they are used to.

One of the more interesting aspects of CSGO though is how much you can grief your teammates The most fun is when you have an angry russian on your team and you're baiting them into killing you by "accidentally" flashbanging them, blocking them etc until they lose their mind. Once they do enough team damage they're automatically kicked from the server and banned from the game for X amount of minutes/hours/days. It's very amusing.
