So now that they've been around for a little while, how do you guys feel about each member of Council? I'll start.

Bae: Seems like she'd be fun to be around but tries too hard sometimes and can be kinda grating.

Kronii: Best voice by far, could be top tier if it wasn't for her constant lethargy.

Sana: Very genuine and seems like a great person but her solo streams are boring as fuck and her avatar just doesn't do it for me.

Fauna: Soothing voice but also pretty boring, she's the most dedicated to her council shtick so I guess she's got that going for her.

Mumei: Just pretends to be dumb most of the time and is definitely the most autistic and sheltered, but when she's at her best I think she's the most entertaining.

Fauna and Moomers are the best for me, their type of humor really hits the spot. I find Kronii boring most times in her solo streams but I enjoy her a lot in collab streams. Bae is the opposite, I can enjoy her in solo streams but in collab streams she can be annoying. I sometimes forget Sana is in Hololive.

I like Mumei and Bae, Fauna is alright though. Bae exudes too much zoomer energy for my taste, but she works hard and you can tell she loves hololive.
Mumei is a high-functioning autist that unfortunately acts differently with every member, which is why she suffers in big collabs but at the same time her 1-on-1 collabs are very good (her last collab with Gura was amazing). I feel like she hasn’t shown her true personality.

They're all fun and have pretty good compatibility for collabs, something I could never say about myth.
I love Fauna's voice and gentle personality with the slight toxicity and adorable gamer rage. Also has great taste. Bae and Sana are fun to listen to, Sana's interests aren't my favorite but she's passionate and has fun streams, Bae forces the"chaos" too much but she's super loveable and my favourite Irys ship. Mumei and Kronii are growing on me as having fun interactions with the others but not super entertaining on their own.

Sana: Her commentary is dry and her streaming schedule too bipolar. Either massive dead spots or overlong endurance streams. Not a fan.
Bae: I'm not big on her "loud and genki zoomer" persona. But she's enthusiastic and working hard, so I respect her even if she isn't for me.
Kronii: She has really interesting game picks and a lovely voice. Sometimes her commentary isn't always insanely gripping, but she has some great moments when the stars align.
Mumei: I absolutely love her. She's weird yet relatable, with a lovely singing voice and a unique way of speaking I find super charming. She's surprisingly funny too, and makes for great collabs. I can't help but cheer for her when she's working so hard to balance school and being a Holo.
Fauna: My absolute favorite and oshi. She's sweet and relaxing, but with a huge amount of enthusiasm. She's really witty and seems to get how to thread together interesting asides, stories and skits all into a stream. Which makes sense, since she's mentioned watching a lot of EN and some 3D content creators like Northernlion. She knows exactly what she wants to be and provides plenty of fanservice in the form of her ASMR vids. I adore her so much.

Bae - Charming, hardest worker, and sweet. I know this has been a complaint for a long time but it's a shame she has to put on that voice. Her natural voice is much better.

Sana - I don't watch, I'm afraid.

Fauna - I can't tell if she's good at games or not. She seems to have a nice personality, but, you know.

Mumei - I recovered from my hopium overdose pre-debut, but even so... I still don't get it.

Kronii - *sigh* She seems happier lately. I kinda dropped her in 2020 but back then I didn't realize that her issues were quite so deep. I'm more sympathetic now but I still don't regularly watch. She has great potential and she is a very honest, if guarded person. A real talent.

Overall fine, but underwhelming by Holo standards. I'd argue that a lot of NijiEN and small corpo chuubas are more entertaining which is pretty bad considering they are on top of the EN chuuba foodchain. It also does them no favors that HoloX who came after them showed them real passion, which is obviously lacking from 3/5 of them

I honestly really, really like Council, they're clearly still maturing but I think they've all got potential.

Bae - Tons of energy that makes her streams pretty interesting even if I'm not paying close attention, and it feels like she shares all that energy with other Holos when she's in a collab or even offstream so she lifts people up. 3D bgirl dance stream when?

Kronii - I love her game picks, but I think she could improve her streaming of them - she leaves dead air and slow plays in a way that makes things dull. Her humor is great when it's on but she seems a little inconsistent - sometimes she has wonderful dry timing and sometimes she just says memes. Maybe just a comfort issue.

Fauna - She's hampered by her Holo character being the one I'm least interested in, never was much for mommies and ASMR and ara ara etc, but she's pleasant enough to watch. Probably my least favorite Council, but not bad.

Sana - Frankly I haven't watched enough solo Sana to have a strong opinion, and she tends to fade into the background in bigger collabs so I don't have a great read on her.

Mumei - My favorite Council and it's not close. Clever, really good at playing her character while also revealing some of her own personality in zatsus etc., great in collabs whether they're duos or big groups (compare the Gura collab and the Stars collab, she works super well in both). She also clearly works hard as hell at what she does. luv me owl simple as

Kronii- The dumb fanservice in her first weeks filtered me and I don't care for her game choices.

Fauna- Ara ara mommy shit only works if they're an actual hag, but besides that she's chill and I always enjoy her streams. Idk what her ASMR is like.

kronii - i've watched her the most, but i feel like i've made most of her up to please myself, since her sultry voice and serious personality leaves me desiring so much, but she gives so little. then when she goes loopy and turns into jokeronii, i want to go back to using my imagination instead.

bae - she's got the spirit. doesn't even need to try as hard as she does to "turn it on" because it just turns into screeching. girl, you are high energy and fun enough without trying. an excellent duo partner.

moomor - hardly seen can't really say, but she is probably the best natural singer in EN now. sometimes sounds almost identical to gura except as a quiet weirdo and not a happy-go-lucky goomba.

Personally the two I watch the most are Kronii and Fauna. Kronii’s choice of games can be a bit questionable (in that it’s often indie games that aren’t that interesting to me) but she is nice to listen to and her tangents are cute. I like her voice and her design and I’m glad she reigned in most of the clip-baiters. Also some of her organic moments like the first time she met IRyS and the first Kiara collab were both absolute kino. I just wish she had a more stable schedule and less chat schizos also I absolutely unironically love the Kronii split, being one of its resident writefags
Fauna I enjoy listening to as well, she’s very comfy and although ASMR isn’t really my thing she does it well enough I sometimes make exceptions. She’s also really good in collabs, like the Mario Kart one with Gura, provided she can get a word in. I like her lore and design, and the fact she played Spore sold her to me well, although it’s a shame she never went to the Galactic Core.
Both girls mesh well with each other too. As for the others, I don’t dislike any of them. Mumei’s birb dumb thing puts me off, as does the horror side, I did originally have hopium she might try strategy games but a) she’s clearly not a /gsg/ Holo and b) they would get fuck all views whilst being yab central anyway so I understand. It sucks she can’t do her history streams though. It would surely do no harm for her to talk about the Inca or Mesopotamia or something, rather than say the Crusades or the World Wars. Sana has a very hot design and I think Aussie accents are cute, but she rarely plays games I’m interested in and her stream times aren’t great for bongistan. Similar story for Bae, when she isn’t screaming that is, she’s nice to listen to and I like that she’s high energy most of the time.

Sana is someone who is at her strongest when she has someone she can bounce her bizarre thoughts off of and bewilder. I think she maybe plays her solo streams too safe, as her debut, Kimono reveal and the creation of the horse show that her true strength is embracing the chaos. If ever there is a three way stream featuring Luna and Sana, I fear for the sanity of whoever is in the middle.

Bae is just overall fun and probably the one I most enjoy as background noise as I like her voice and energy. For sure the hardest worker behind the scenes, and the one who will be the most excited and creative when she gets a true 3D.

Kronii is unique. The combination of her excessive vanity and organisation autism makes for an actually entertaining character who would be a perfect antagonistic foil in versus games.

I haven't watched Fauna and Mumei enough to properly judge them. But Fauna seems painfully sweet, and Mumei does have the funny thing going where she seems cute but is actually scary, just like an owl.
