I’m gonna be honest, it legit feels like she’s losing viewers. Like, she’s still the top dog in JP right now so it’s not saying a LOT, but I legitimately don’t know of anyone in Holo who’s currently bleeding viewers as hard as her. You can argue maybe Ame but Ame’s intentionally done stupid shit that’s made her fanbase stop tuning in a lot.

Pekora legit gets lower and lower ccv each stream, often relies on people ending streams as of late to “peak” or climb up, and when she actually does have good numbers she ends up bleeding out hard and loses thousands of viewers over the course of her stream. Maybe it’s more noticeable because she’s at the top but it’s fucking weird to see viewers opt to tune into other streamers over her lately.

What's with Holo and Niji's home3D being shit? Why do they still rely on getting an Iphone to track movement into your model? Just a few days ago, someone posted about pose estimates and stuff. I didn't realize how difficult the scope was and these two companies are trying to make it feasible for the upper body.

Her floor always has been 22 to 24k so she's pretty much at the same point that she used to be before the immensely buffed October/November 2021(December too actually but part of that month was heavily influenced by CCVid).

The issue with Pekora is that she has a large fanbase but she does practically nothing to expand that base. She is very much a loner. Compare her to Miko and Subaru.

Both Miko and Subaru are very popular as well and their gaming content isn't too dissimilar from Pekora's. However both of them are also collab machines and also spend time organizing and working on unique and interesting project. Hell, Miko organizes the biggest full company collab every year in sports festival.

The newest things she's trying
- entered the Ark ring
- moved non tournament Apex to early morning where there's no competition and a lot of extra NA viewers
- Even more Hololive collabs, as promised - currently with Noel, a little wile back with Suisei and Gen X
- On screen made up with Haachama

The Haachama one being the most important.
They patched things up forever ago off-screen but, since Matsuri isn't part of any Hololive cliques anymore, Haachama might become her rival-partner again. They could do a duet at the Holofest again, so best to build up the on-screen relationship.

Haachama's also been going heavy on Hololive re-integration. A lot of collabs and appearing on the Maruyama show.

If i remember what Chloe and Koyo said, they were already selected since back in January 2021. Usually it took ~7 months for Gen 4, 5 and Myth to debut, so the July - Aug would have made sense.
Add over it some unforeseen delays over summer and needing to debut 6 EN members and we get late 2022 for Gen6 debut.
Anon's restless applicant's theory made sense at the time. Though, we don't know what really went on behind the scenes, so the "2 of them rejected Holo X" theory is just that.

They spend a lot of money on "world building" PV and some ads, but just let the girls do whatever generic vtuber stuff on stream, with no actual group direction.

The girls themselves tried to do some team building with the Getting over it competition but it had nothing to do with the "Verse" project idea.
