You're all forgetting one very, very important aspect of all of this. That aspect is the amount of work and effort other girls, not just EN, have put into being idols and in Hololive as a whole. And they're quite successful because of it. Their effort brought results. Mori's actions aren't just reflecting poorly (terribly) on her but have already caused a great deal of resentment and contempt from the other girls, even her genmates. I guarantee it. Because from their perspective Mori is implying that all the effort, discipline and stress simply doesn't exist, because as her buddy Conner said - "You don't have to be talented to be a part of Hololive." Only teenagers and idiots think being a vtuber is easy or simple. It is not. It is in fact extremely hard and taxing work, especially psychologically.

So put yourself in their shoes and see it from their perspective. From their POV Mori is completely devaluing everything, absolutely everything they do and have done so far. And despite this bold claim Mori has failed to live up to the ideal, or more precisely she hasn't even tried to grasp it because she never wanted to be a vtuber in the first place. Mori hasn't put in the same amount of effort, never showed genuine interest or enthusiasm, and on top of that loathes the entire culture and industry. The girls have no damn reason to publicly or professionally support her, and as I see it Mori is now "playing for the other team" so to speak. She's an outsider. She turned her back on THEM, not the other way around. And I admit I'm interpreting this as a man, but I think that there's definitely a purely professional kind of contempt for Mori in HoloEN. And it's all due to her own actions and indescribable stupidity. I have no proof for any of this so it's my rrat, but as an adult with a job... yeah, I don't think Mori will get much support. Yes they might privately talk and remain privately on good terms, but her professional relationship with the girls is in tatters and by proxy everyone in vtubing and vtuber related industry and culture will take note. Her reputation is irreversibly destroyed.

This is equally important - it's possible Mori will end up shitting on us, the audience, with ye olde incel bullshit and how being an idol is patriarchy and other such nonsense. This is of course a lie, because the bottom line is - other girls set the standard and the bar. From Korone to Marine to Rushia to Gura to Ame back to Okayu, Mori didn't fail in the eyes of some imaginary patriarchy or oppressive idol culture. She failed in the eyes of other women. Her response would have been fine if she was a part of a smaller group, because people need a thick skin to be online and you might not have a huge community or colleagues to lean on. That isn't her situation though. Every day there's fantastic artists making fanart of Mori every day and tons of people leave messages of support on her videos, contributing towards making her community active and productive.

She works alongside other streamers who, despite having to deal with a shit ton of antis, managed to maintain a positive and productive image rather than dragging down the group by descending into drama, and whose fans pushed through the hardship to show support.
She came about right around when the antis were hitting strong. That's the type of community she's fostered, one that ignored and pushed against antis.

Acknowledging the actions of antis and making decisions from a source of negativity instead of building on top of her good foundation utterly shits on all the efforts of the fans and is a glaring insult to all the senpai who dealt with shit before her. People don't go to Hololive for basic bitch shitposting and the gottem mentality, the occasional snap is golden, but it's also why people weren't keen on Gura bringing up reaction videos recently, it's seen as drama festering and it's just not what the community is.

Calli has a much better community that she could be focusing on, one that would largely have supported her endeavours if she just stopped bitching about people's reactions and got on with it. Not only that, people typically has investments in other members of Hololive too, so when one girl is self sabotaging and taking bait, it's going to feel like she's bringing everyone else down too.
