Each box has an effect that hurts or makes the 4 types of chickens happy. The rules are super convoluted, but you should be able to figure it out by watching the 4 numbers at the top. The hardest one to not have drop to 0 is the agent, so hiding things like KFP name tags, the usual room, and other 'company secrets' is the way to go. Some hit harder than others for the agent only, but everything else is either a -1 or a +1 to their happiness rating. The goal is to make it through 10 scenarios without one of the chickens hitting 0. I rammed my head against it for a minute and it took maybe 10 minutes after figuring out to get a good set of photos in an order that gave me the 'good end'.

This is the actual reason she won't play it. Has nothing to do with graphics. Kiara didn't even bother to catch a Glameow in Pokémon despite her exaggerated reaction to Purugly. Contrast Ina who caught every new Pokémon she saw and gave every one of them a themed nickname. That just isn't Kiara; she doesn't go off the beaten path and loses interest in games after the story has finished. Kiara likes story-driven, linear games. I said this in a previous thread, but if a Japanese game came out that looked like Skyrim but played like the JRPGs she likes, she'd probably already have an interest. A game like Nier Automata, 2B's butt aside, is not very cute or anime, and she loves medieval fantasy aesthetics arguably as much as anime ones.

IIRC from global posts etc. mods are basically entirely out because everything needs explicit permission.
One mod can be a permissions nightmare because it could use assets from anywhere. Also, not sure if Skyrim made it better but I recall Morrowind and Oblivion PC mods because glitch-fest-central. Like, randomly CTD bad except for basic-ass building, and even those were glitchy.

Possibly. It's true that Kiara generally enjoys games that are more linear with a story. But I honestly don't think Kiara looks/thinks that deeply into games when she considers playing them. From what I've seen on stream, most of the reasons she gives for not playing a game that chat suggests, is that she doesn't like the genre or isn't cute enough. It is about having a good medium though, Yagoo's weirdest is fun in his random little 5 minute appearances but wouldn't work for anything longer. Just looking at the Tales interview, it is pretty much the only Arise interview with more than 20k views. It doesn't make a difference on stream, but given how throughout with her exploration she usually is, I don't think it's because Kiara doesn't like sidequests and such, but rather she's thinking about the quality of her stream and chooses to skip over things that need backtracking or traveling to a certain point without warp or something along those lines. I can not see her enjoying massive open world games.

Besides actively seeking out new Pokémon to fit into her gimmick of naming every catch after food, Ina constantly does things like talking to miscellaneous NPCs and milking content from random environmental objects in buildings and town (e.g. the weird folk tales about eating/marrying Pokémon in the library in Canalave). A lot of her content in the streams comes from that. In comparison Kiara spends almost no time doing these things. Her streaming style is usually focused much more on trying to progress in the game somewhat passively towards the next big set piece while she works on the real content, which is her own lengthy tangents. A combination of her own preferences and streamer/entertainer brain would probably make most sandbox/open world games less fun than people would want or expect.

Yep, that's all it really is. I get where she's coming from and even if most of us would tune in to 4/6 streams a week being zatsu's, she doesn't want to have to fill all of the extra time using up her talking points. It probably plays into it because she might think she won't have enough in-game stuff to tangent off of so it's better to do a bit of meandering, but focus on finish asap.

Is Paladins any good? I looked up 5 mins of gameplay on YT and it just looks like an uninspired Valorant clone of an Overwatch clone.

Basically I'm asking if we have another potential "we were here" situation on our hands where we have to sit through 1-2 hours of kusoge to maybe get half an hour of kino Ametori zatsudan at the end out of it.

Speaking as someone who's never played Paladins but enjoyed Overwatch for a little bit, Ame's streams of the game were fun. She genuinely likes the game, so I imagine that'll help Kiara get into it. The kind of nature of deaths being less relevant in these kinds of games will probably take the pressure off her.

It's a pvp fps, so I honestly can't say that it would go so well for Kiara, as she is not that good at games in general. I think it would have been better if she did a coop fps game with Ame instead of jumping right into a pvp game.
However, atleast it isn't a battle royal, or counterstrike type game. As someone said, deaths don't matter too much.

Also, I agree with the last point. I wish that they could do a simple game where they can zatsudan abit more. I need more ametori.
