Unless they went with a short minimal format (which hologra already covers even if 3D) an anime is just not feasible at the moment, or ever likely ever.
No single company can take on an anime production head on, all anime now a days are funded by a large committee made up of different companies each one with their own goals and visions for the project, by the time everyone agrees on everything a Hololive anime would be something completely unrecognizable
However more animated CMs like the initial one for Hololive alternative would be great

If you look at the timeline of her channel, she really started pumping out lewd stuff when she quit her irl job and became a full time streamer (this was when she was already in Hololive. Yes, she had an irl job and was managing two channels at the same time over the course of around 6 months). My guess is that she did it to legitimize her career choice (I wouldn't be surprised if JPN believes a job isn't actually a job unless you are getting paid a certain amount yearly). I also believe the circumstances of the pandemic played a role as well.
