Very much so, it's pretty much certain he's going to show up one day with a live2D model, he has a fucking youtube channel with 6 digit subs already, and full body vtuber character design already finished, a live2D model is probably already finished too. I thought maybe the long hold up for his debut was because Cover was looking for a female employee fluent in Japanese and English to play as Omega when doing streams like A-chan but now that Holostars EN is the hot topic discussion of the month thanks to the competitor nijisanji and their male ENs, Omega suddenly has to butt in and remind everyone that Holostars are apart of Hololive productions. Then recently, a holostars JP group collab is announced with Ollie (infamously known for her love of male ecelebs and male vtubers), along with Bae (who is open about her love for Roberu), Mumei and Iofi, coincidentally during this time period, which isn't very subtle because cover management is definitely testing the waters after seeing their competitor see success with introducing EN males.

The reason he keeps the gender ambiguous is not for any actual tranny reasons (though it's fun to meme on him for it, because it's such a low hanging fruit), but because he knows the Hololive fanbase (despite redditsois virtuesignalpretending otherwise), or at least a significant enough part of it, would have issues with a male in a position of power over their girls.
