Akutan agrees and says that makes sense, if you don't know whether or not it's happened. While what Marine says sounds like the most positive and mentally healthy option, however, it can also open the door for someone less scrupulous to try and take advantage of you, which I'm pretty sure has happened more than once to Marine even within hololive, but if it makes her feel good being that way, more power to her I guess. Me too anon, I really like Senchou's art style and the fact that she's so good at drawing is one of the biggest reasons why I like and follow her.

Marine's had such shitty experiences historically that even if cover are treating her really poorly it might still seem relatively good to her, especially when you consider the slack that comes from Hololive being so wildly successful. As in, when you consider how much revenue hololive are generating, even if you assume the girls getting the short end of the stick in terms of obligation load and having only a very small % of the revenue making it to them after corporate takes their chunk, they still probably feel really lucky and are earning significantly more than they ever have in their lives, so it's hard to get worked up about feeling hard done by.

I honestly think it would be difficult to overestimate how badly they're getting fucked over, it's just the wrong industry to assume they're getting a fair deal by default.

I wouldn't use generous to describe Cover but at least they care a bit more about their talents than other agencies, proof of that is how they preferred to keep Coco rather than bow down to the Chinks, and while you can make the argument that firing her to keep the Chinese market would have pissed off the global audience, it speaks volumes of them that they even asked Coco to stay with the company after they had to kill an entire branch and all the potential profits (which were not peanuts) just to keep her with them.
