Hey bros, I've been thinking a little bit.
Do you think it would be beneficial if we reached out to Bae's general /rrat/ and worked to merge with them? Consider that /rrat/ and /nasa/ are both very slow threads even when the respective oshi is live.

I feel like this would be a good move, both groups are pretty respectful and chill. /mogu/ and /doog/ do this and it works out nicely.

I've been monitoring both threads lately trying to see if they would be a good fit and they seem to be fairly equal. It's a primitive calculation but Bae's general has a little over 4 posts per hour while we have about 7 currently and neither split is all that active during streams (I was lurking during Sana's photoshoot and Bae's minecraft).

I'm personally a fan of both girls, I'm a Sanallite first but Bae has really been growing on me lately. If one of them is live while another EN is also live they get drowned out or aren't present in global. Because of this I was thinking a merger might bring some growth for both parties during streams

I worry that some of the people that gravitate to Bae's personality contrast a lot with the people that lean towards Sana. Of course there's overlap, but I think the dynamic of a merged general is a little different, more personal, than if we were all in like a thread representing the whole of Council. Clashing would probably be inevitable at times if we tried to treat the merge like the comfy space we have here. Some brats are in the camp that are really turned off by giantess and booba posting, for example.

I guess that is reasonable. Just from what I have been seeing about both threads is that we are pretty chill about things and we don't get all uppity even if there are spots of disagreement or conflict. I personally don't forsee any major problems with a merger, if there were they would be minor and everyone is calm enough to not blow stuff over unnecessarily.

Okay, so the rrats do not feel a merger at this time would be the best move so things will continue as they have been. They are open to the idea potentially in the future but they are comfortable where they're at now.

Yeah, I honestly wouldn't expect the rrats to want to merge for a while since Bae is currently the most active streamer of Council anyway so they rarely feel short on new material.
Bae does stream a LOT though. It's practically an endurance for her where you'll see her Solo stream and then show up a couple hours later do a guerilla collab on another stream and then do a morning chat stream with the coffee just flowing in her veins. And she was still doing this almost all through the holidays too.
So I kinda foresee Bae needing to take a bit of a chunky break for herself at some point this year. Whenever that happens I'd be fine with us proposing a unity board for them if they need it.

I always said, Council might not do as well as Myth numbers wise but they were necessary for EN to improve their collabs. Now Gura has friends to play games with, Mori has people to do talking streams with and they can actually organize big events now.

They were never going to. A certain percentage of people just aren't going to leave Myth and see Council as competitors rather than collaborators. Another percentage just don't have time to keep up with more than a few vtubers. I love that there's so much more energy around EN now even if I don't watch everybody.
