The thing is that none of this drama about Mori is in any way new. Mori has admitted very early on that she applied to Hololive as a joke and didn't expect to get in.
She immediately tried to bruteforce collabs with her fucking faggot 3D manlets that she simps for (Cr1tikal) and literally threw a tantrum when Cover didn't allow it, vowing to make it happen someday somehow. Mind you this was at a point where she still couldn't even pretend to know a single thing about any JP senpai. She literally waltzed into a culture she didn't know and the first thing she did was to try to drag HER fucking 3D dudebro memelord "culture" into it.

One thing I don't see talked about often, and I don't remember where she said it (was somewhat recent though), is that she also admitted that she initially wanted to just "Ayame" it (just cashing in on the job while providing the bare minimum), but the SC floods guilt-tripped her into trying harder. But the fact that she even had this intention initially shows just how absolutely not into vtubing she was.

Now she did improve her stream quality eventually but in the end, this is what she's always been at her core. She'll never be able to brainwash herself into liking vtuber idol culture.
