My problem is I tend to consume video content like podcasts so I just want to listen to it rather than watch it (especially for things that last hours). If I were actually watching it actively, I'd probably just stick to JP because knowing the specific words their saying is often not relevant and there's subtitles on the side anyway. But with EN I can just listen to the conversations and then when something sounds interesting I can flip over to watch it. Like I hated that I watched the sports festival from Irys' point of view, her group as individuals were so fucking boring but it was like 6 hours and I wasn't going to have time set aside to actively engage with content for that long so even though the experience would have been way better from a JP perspective and I wouldn't have been any more confused (considering EN never understood the rules to a single game), I had to settle for the perspective where I could hear what was being said and know when to flip over for something interesting. If you are clips-only and not streams, then there's no excuse to watch EN I think.

They stream more often, they collab more often, they actually enjoy their job and appreciate their fans, they like Japanese media and culture, they know what topics to avoid, etc. Obviously JP has its members who are just as bad as EN if not worse but when people compare they are comparing the averages between the two. Most people who like EN hate Japan, just like most people who watch Crunchyroll or read Viz hate Japan. But people who got into these cultures through communities like 4chan actually like those parts of Japan that something like EN is designed to eliminate so that it can pander to the people who never liked Japan in the first place.

Japanese is including more and more english loan words and the speech is becoming less polite. Even kanji is very slowly starting to fall out of favor.

Judging from clips, JP is better on average, but that doesn't mean all of EN are terrible, or all of JP good. Combined with the fact that I can't be bothered to learn japanese, it seems like the best option is to simply pick the few good EN chuubas.

The JPs I'm unhappy about being unable to follow outside of clips/translations are: Marine, Pekora, Botan and Noel. (I'd include Haachama, but she speaks english quite often.) EN-side, I'm enjoying Gura and Fauna a lot.

I was curious so I've been looking into this.

Basically you reach your full height as an adult right? But many/most people live unhealthy, retarded lives so they often have minor spinal problems. For example an obese person can lose 4-6 inches from spinal compression. Other factors like dehydration, overcomsumption of of acidic beverages, low calcium, weak back muscles and compression in general from shitty standing or sitting posture can just generally make you look like a manlet, this is before considering that you can lose up to an inch from compression from the time you wake up to the time you sleep again (at which time your spine decompresses somewhat).

So essentially stretching, a good diet, hydration, not having abdominal fat in general, doing exercises specifically to strengthen both your leg muscles and your back muscles etc. you can regain height you otherwise obscured by being a lazy unhealthy fucktard.

So you don't actually gain height, you gained your full height and then fucked your body up and this caused you to appear to lose height. Your max height was already decided when you hit adulthood, but because people who are in shape are keeping their spine and legs in top condition they continue to maintain that height while unhealthy retards become short unhealthy retards.
