250-700 is the sweetspot. Nina is talented enough for opportunities like that, but as are many other streamers in this area. If they keep at it they can make it big whilst holding onto their freedom. Nina, Shadow and Vivi are the three best streamers in this category. All of them have huge corpo potential but all of them seem extremely happy where they are, which is so incredibly refreshing.

That's the weird thing. Before Hololive blew up worldwide there were already western vtubers. They were all just like regular streamers, but then there was this shift among them to be more like Hololive. Rather than getting better it's just going back to being how it used to be. I don't know if we can ever truly return to pre-Hololive days in western vtubing and I'm not sure how much my rose-tinted glasses are making me think those days were better.

all the members at least earn minimum wage through their streams. -> that's $7.25/hr. Let's give them more room, say $8 an hour. Stream time is around 4 hours each stream, and 4 streams a day (again with the more comfortable averages for their benefit). That's $512 earnings a month. CL takes 15% of that - $76 a month from a talent.

Now obviously you have Lumi who has dedicated whales after all the clout chasing and whoring around. Let's work in reverse to see how much she has to earn to help the company "break even". Let's say their manager has a monthly wage of $3000. To cover the rest of $2700 which is 15%, lumi would have to get $18000 in net revenue, and because she is on twitch, where most of the revenue is from subs (50% taken away by twitch). That would require her to earn up to $36,000 a month just to help CL "break even" on a single low manager salary. That is not including "all the support" they claim to provide.

Just some simple math. It may not be accurate, but it should show you to think twice before believing in the BS they tell you. All of this is based on what they claimed and it doesn't add up.
