Ike uses simple Japanese phrases quite a lot and I think I've spotted translators in his chat a few times. There's a translator from time to time in Vox's chat. I didn't watch much Mysta but there must be a fuckton of clips because of how popular he is with JPs. No idea about Luca and Shu but Shu is fluent in Japanese, maybe he uses it in streams occasionally too.
Besides, chink and JP girls who say something like "I'll learn English for you" are sticking to their reps for now, they try their best to write supas and tweets in English.

Holostars EN (and by extension Holostars JP, since that's what happened with the JP girls after the EN branch debuted) would get subscriber boosts from normalfags and redditors, but it would still be up for debate if that would help their live viewer count. Holostars don't benefit much from the Hololive brand so they had to grow on their own two feet, functionally like a separate agency. Considering that the Holostars are doing pretty well, it's just that some Holofags are deeply out of touch and think that having less than 10k live views or 1 million subs is failure.
