We already had this discussion. Umisea was considered a poorly thought out disaster. Gura didn't spend the year grinding her reps. A-chan sucked at live translating (not that anyone can live translate a normal conversation unless people pause to wait for the translator). There were awkward exclamations that only served to remind everyone how hard they were trying to bridge the language barrier.

What does this have to do with the topic? Simple, corporate mandates don't take chemistry into account, and the resulting groupings will have to be in top improv form in order to carry the dynamic without seeming inauthentic and phony.

This is literally anime tier, where it's all fake but you have to sell it as if it's real. That's a level of talent/skill above hitting record and "just being yourself." When it comes to fake ships, you have to be a completely different version of yourself whose feelings and opinions conform to that fabricated reality. They have a word for it. It's called "acting." And it's why the JPs are run ragged with various lessons and instruction on the various aspects of peeformative entertainment. It's because theatrics are serious business, even if most people think it's easy as fuck.
