Unironic congrats and praise. I've long since complained that western vtubers are lazy and unambitious. Securing corporate partnerships and raising the character's profile/brand is a safer path for expansion than doing nothing. Even if people dislike your content and personality, your character can still appear in other media and be better received there.

Honestly, it's good to know at least someone reads my backseat manager posts instead of just treading water and blaming their numbers on muh algorithm, muh Susan, muh not using twitch, muh obstructive managers and other shit.

With that said, if she's going the mihoyo route then I also hope she's dropping hints that she'd be open to her character to be involved in some capacity with upcoming new hotness Star Rail, either as someone promoting the game (possibly with early access sneak peaks), maybe appearing in collaborative lromotional material, and (if she hits the jackpot) maybe even appearing as a character in the game. Playability of said character would be the holy grail even if she's just a F2P welfare unit inferior to the P2W meta picks from the gacha banners. Because we all know how gacha games work.

On a related note, maybe a new Honkai inspired outfit might be worth considering, as her current one is rather plain and uninspired.

I think she quickly got accepted by mihoyo because of her approach of the game, I saw other sponsored honkai streamers and all they do is talk about the META, how the new character is going to replace another character, or if their weapon/stigmatas will deal viable enough DPS instead.

however finana represents a much more different perpsective, she is there to squeal at bronya and timido's boobs and personalities, cry at the story and scream at the OSTs being pog bangers, she truly loves the game's story and designs rather than just being a competitive perfect abyss/memorial score beast and I think mihoyo wants to show new audiences that there is more to the game than tryhardness with the feesh wholesomeness.

I missed out on a good chunk of her Honkai streams because of irl stuff but I think come summer, I'll go back and rewatch from the beginning so I can experience in with her. She's great when playing something she enjoys and it seems like the Honkai story is really hooking her in so it must be phenomenal

I don't really care for mihoyo's trash gatcha games, but I do feel happy for Finana because she's finally making it and receiving the recognition she deserves. I recommend her song of horror, yakuza, gta5, and ffxiv streams though.

Yeah it was refreshing to see another approach to Honkai content than the usual meta chase. People will tell you how great the storytelling is to never talk about the story again in favour of arguing how you can improve your score by a whole 3 points in game mode X and Y. Seeing her genuinely get excited for the new Bronya and APHO2 stuff makes you more interested in those I'll still skip Bronya as well.
People love to concernfag/funpost about Finana, but she genuinely found a niche for herself and she's still a fun liver. Let's see how her connection to MHY will benefit her.

Try searching any genshin or honkai videos ad it's almost always meta which scare casuals away. But Finana's approach is new, you get to see a streamer that likes the game for more than one reason. And her enjoyment is contagious

that's pretty awesome. i remember Raid Shadow Legends was offering streamers and youtube personalities tens of thousands of dollars for a few minutes plug, i wonder how much mihoyo drops on a sponsored stream or partnership.
