I think we're a pretty good fanbase, with quite a few lovely people, but I want to talk about our downsides. After all, people are hard on us, and we're hard on ourselves, so I think a bit of self examination might be healthy.
The big one is that we reply to bait a lot, but believe it or not this isn't purely a bad thing. Sometimes, we have to shut people down hard, but it can be hard to know whether we're feeding the trolls or shutting them down. Sadly I think we also have a KFP who gets off to replying to bait.
Second, we do have some clear divides. There are the saviorfags and there are the... I guess I'll call them contentfags? The former group got into this because of Kiara's vulnerability, and the latter group just wants her to be entertaining. Go too far on one extreme and you become a hyper negative concernfag, but contentfaggotry also causes Kiara to overwork herself and feel miserable. Unfortunately, trolls have discovered that these two groups are easy to trick into fighting, though I think we're gradually learning our lesson.
But beyond all that, I'd say we're generally pretty nice. We like it when people drop by to say nice things about chimken, we always try to celebrate chuubas that are nice to her, and for the most part we support each other. We also produce some fun content in soundposts and it's always enjoyable when we have some discussion that involves timestamping long vods back and forth at each other.

Nah it's still cute. The biggest advantage is that it's not an "established official lore" ship, that's what made takamori so stale and odious in the end because it felt like two characters being chained down together by an act that has run its course long ago.
Compared to that, Kiara/Ame are much more harmless and free, they could for example just drop the flirting anytime if they don't want to anymore, or also flirt with other people, without /u/schizos harassing them about sticking to their "official" ship, because it's simply not presented as "serious".
