Nah, her singing wasn't even that good when i watched her during her early days. I continued watching her only because I sensed potential in her voice(or SOVL) and her determination. Her growth between karaoke's is quite significant even without proper voice training. I truly started supporting her when she started going for reals in 2021 and changing her voice definitely helped.

Anyway she's definitely not the best singer but her development and improvement is the greatest. She also explores different genres and knows about her strengths and weaknesses and I can respect that. As long as she doesn't stop she's definitely going places, her album sales is a proof of that.

I won't criticize songs I don't like, as I think of it as part of her development and acknowledge her attempts. One thing I will criticize her about is her unwillingness to go for proper voice training. Like girl she has no idea how much potential her voice has, she basically already has the most important things for singing, a very good ear for music, ability to sing on pitch , good sense of rhythm and a voice that is fairly adaptable. All these takes YEARS for new vocalists to train and develop. So what I can't understand is, why is she setting herself back by not taking vocal lessons? It could really propel her growth even further and faster. I understand that there are things we don't like to do, but if we want success we will have to endure it. Anyways I will continue watching over her growth and without any doubt if she do reaches a point where she realizes she has hit her limit she will definitely go for voice training.

She's already mid/late game anon, her voice/singing style won't change that easily, that only applies to people who just picked up singing or don't sing as much. But well, I wouldn't say its the same but her growth has definitely slowed down. I can tell that the quality and control of the notes in the extremities of her range is still improving. Also, she is a performer first and foremost and should definitely put quality first instead of trying to go out of her comfort zone too much. (Which is why her live singing is so great)

For someone who is singing pop music, Suisei is genuinely really good, especially when you consider that the majority of her performances are done
1.) at her apartment instead of a studio
2.) with no staff backup
3.) actually live and in a single take
When you take all of the above into account when evaluating her performances, one can credibly claim that she's better than pretty much all actual idols at singing (outside of your once-in-a-decade talents like Ayumi Hamasaki) and is rightfully regarded as someone who stands near or at the apex of Vsingers.
What is also true, however, is that she's definitely not on the same level as people who are bona-fide professional musicians (as opposed to just idols or manufactured pop stars). This is to be expected, though, Suisei is still young and will probably reach even greater heights of skill in the future if she doesn't get distracted or lose her drive.

TLDR: She's objectively very good by the standards of her medium and is arguably even better than most people give her credit for.

Not exactly, okayu always has been considered a strong marika player even Suisei's rise to the top in the game. In practice stream the other day, it was obvious that suisei and okayu is like 60:40 in suisei favor but an okayu win is not really a big upset.
