towa has always said that she only streams if she's in a good mood because she doesn't want the listener to have a bad time and she performs best in a good mood. If she's not in a good mood then she ought to not stream. If anything there were some parts of december where it seemed like she was streaming out of obligation and not because she thought it would be fun. As she said she was basically just operating on a runner's high and not really acting as she would naturally. Not to mention that a bunch of kenzoku were starting to get worried as since she was starting to overwork it did look like she was less and less energetic towards the end of the year. It was at that point she more or less realized that "wait, why am I streaming if I'm not having fun? That kind of goes against my whole philosophy, and I'm not having fun right now, so I guess I won't stream!"
