Both have impressive (relative) SC numbers and loyal fanbases. It's not stupid at all. Even if they both do stupidly long hours on shit games, it's more time their fanbases get to chill with them in the background which builds a solid relationship with the girls. Something that's hard to achieve with 1-2 hour accessible streams.

Mumei had a lot of short streams and sparse schedules early on, and three guerrilla weeks due to exams. She leapt upwards in monthly stream hour rankings when she stopped giving a fuck about being a responsible college student in November. She had the second most hours in Council and sixth most in HoloEN that month, though Kronii managed to overtake her in December because she actually started trying again.

Ina never does public watchalongs or superchat readings im pretty sure so she never debuffs her watched hours. Mori im pretty sure is the 2nd most popular EN these days outside of /vt/ at least and her hours arent much lower than Amelias if you actually read it so being a bit more popular while having similar hours adds up.
Kiara has an insane number of hours up on Amelia to push her past Amelias hours watched.

5 3 hours streams are much better than 1 15 hour stream the majority of which is in the dead of night for most people. Would be interesting to see how much of Sana's career content is Pokemon. Wouldn't be surprised if it's 40 or even 50%.

You know the Youtube algorithm fucks with the amount of live viewers since december 2020 right? People looked up thr code and found various things that gives you the status of of spam viewer.
Look at pic related for example, its utterly impossible to have all these votes in anfee minutes with less than half of people who voted watching you.
Youtube already acknowledged this but never did anything about it, while twitch was never affected by something like this.
HoloEN easy hit the hardest because their channel is set on Japan but their main audience is from the west, so YT filters a chunk of these western viewers out of principle.

I heard JP holos got hit by the same issue recently, its why holox only had 40K viewers on outfit reveal and Nene had more likes than viewers when the outfit stream was live which is impossible since not many people leave a like in the first place
