Why is council so fucking lazy? Sana especially. She hasn't streamed in a week and is taking another break without even giving an excuse. She's worse than ayame. At least ayame would communicate to her fans, Sana has stayed silent. How does she keep getting away with it? Did her dog sir again?

How many times are threads like these going to get posted, and how many times are holotards going to run in circles posting the same replies they always do?

the council isn't lazy, the horrible EN management is creating an extremely hostile environment, and the girls don't want to show up for work anymore. Even Ame and Gura is thinking of quitting now

If they did so, the community would start complaining and the management would be seen even worse than it already is, so I don't think that's a good idea.

Here's the dirty secret - that "minimum streaming requirement" clause only exists as a paper tiger, and is not something that is actually meaningfully enforced in practice. Obviously, as everyone can see with ther own eyes various talents flaunting this supposed "rule", with seemingly no consequences.

This thing basically only is there to scare off and weed out the most stupidly lazy applicants (in the sense that, too stupid to just lie in the job interview "yeah sure, of course I have the time and motivation to stream regularly, don't worry Mr. Yagoo!", even if it's not true anyway), similar to how the US still asks "are you a terrorist, yes/no?" on their forms when you arrive in the country and you think to yourself "who, terrorist or not, would be so stupid as to answer yes on this obvious question?".

But the truth is, once you're in, there's nothing really they can do to "force" you to stream or prevent you from taking as many breaks as you want. It's only held up by pinky promises and cultural work ethic values that you either have or you don't, not much more. And as talents realize this, some bad apples will take advantage of that and minmax their "work effort" to the extreme. Ayame is the most obvious case, basically taking vacations for weeks and only resurfacing to collect the big returnal simpbux injection for her next vacation.
Why does it work? Because it would be extremely bad optics for the company to actually do something about it. The talent can just use any old excuse (take your pick, I'm moving, I have lessons, my relative died, whatever, and the best one because you can endlessly drag it out: "health" issues) to garner sympathy with their fanbase, and the company would look like an evil big bad bully who's exploiting the poor widdle sick talent only for money reasons. And we can't have that, so Cover thinks for their public image (after all they try appear as le heckin wholesomerino one big happy idol family for the masses above all else) its better to let a few freeloaders get away with it, because that raises less trouble than actually putting their foot down

HoloEN management was bad and lazy as shit for the longest time though, to where it seems like Ame was responsible for most of the behind-the-scenes projects. I'm not sure whats so different now.

as much as I hate to spout this kind of faggotry:
wagie wagie get back in the cagie
you are awfully mad that someone you don't have to care about is using their vacation time as they see fit. consider seeing a psychologist.

Honest Opinion:

I'm ready for the next fad company to shitpost about. The hololive rrats are stale, while the nijisanji rrats are meaningless because nobody even expects anything from them.

After seeing these threads time and again, I think it's time to find fresh new shitposting material. The horse is dead. We can finally stop beating it.
