I constantly get mixed results, infact the first time i used deepL over twitter, it gave me crap translation so i was confused for a while why do people use that instead of google translate.

Turns out its a mixed bag and you do really need to check multiple sources if you suspect somethings off. Heres an example of temakos and menhera-chans tweets, temakos is better on deepL, while yuuna's on twitter.

It "worked" but it's the very reason why she's doing so bad. A big flashy event like that gets you dead subs and nothing else, and contrary to growing the regular way, you are going to be seeing a massive loss of numbers constantly as the number falls down to what it really is, and there sure is a lot to fall down from 10k as an indie.

She's not really declining perse, take Pewdiepie for example. 100 and whatever million subs because of that war against the indians but his videos barely get 1 million views. It's all dead subs, something people just click and forget about forever until they see their cluttered subscription box and unsub/pity factor has ran out.

But if I have to answer it, I think the fact that she is an ASMR channel but doesn't lean into the sensitive stuff is pretty bad. Not to mention Puyo Puyo being a literally who game.

Im in agreement with anon above. Something that takes 2 - 3 streams to finish. Like Resident Evil games, something with story, something to react to.

While im quite cynical about trying to pander to the market, resisting and trying to grow via what you want to do is at least 10 times harder. If i was a streamer i'd probably want to play rtwp wrpg's that are long and slugish and not particularly enjoyable to watch, but thats what i'd like to play, or play a fast paced shooter, which is barely alive and is neither Apex or TF2. Nobody would watch me i bet, even if that would be who i am. Some compromises are needed to start of perhaps, but at the same time you have to be different to stand out. Its a difficult balance.

I'd feel bad if Temako tried to do popular formula stuff, like lewdish asmr, and popular games and it didn't work out. Thats extra punch in the gut since its a lot of work as shes her own translator and clipper too. And still most of the forces that determine your success would be on the outside, like the algorythm, someone doing something that catches popularity in that moment etc. Its scary when youre on your own.

It doesn't need to be sensitive ASMR. There are lots of smaller vtubers doing things like sleep induction that are seeing good viewer numbers. Even when their viewership isn't high, their ASMR still gets more views than their regular content. Temako's main problem is that she doesn't know how to package her ASMR (thumbnail and title), doesn't do any popular sounds (ear cleaning, ear massage, etc.), doesn't do a good job of maintaining a relaxing atmosphere (if the atmosphere is bad then there's no point in watching the archive), doesn't stream ASMR often enough, and when she does stream it's not at a popular time (lots of ASMR streamers start at around 23:00). Her sound quality is good, but everything else needs more effort.

I think the latest Temako ASMR was pretty good, i already used it to fall asleep twice to it. Perhaps for starters she could use a Dark background instead of light one on ASMR stream. Not only to save the eyes of sleeping people, but to enhance the atmosphere too.
