Ame does all the work and is clearly the helpful side character
Calli is ridiculously popular, but only devotes 5% of her time to the team. Clearly the dark and brooding 'Cool' character who occasionally appears
Ina is the meek love interest.
Kiara is the comedy relief character.
Gura does basically nothing yet gets all the chicks/subscribers. Clearly the isekai'd hero.
Hope & Council are the shoehorned 2nd season characters nobody likes.

There probably won't be a definitive main character except sora if it's a "gather member for her idol group" story.
If there ever was a hololive anime, it would probably be split into arcs introducing each gen and telling either the origin story of the group or a random story happening after the group has already been formed. Perhaps halfway through, they'll all meet up and form hololive with the help of sora.
