Deadbeats, how do you manage the /worry/ about your oshi? I like all of Myth a ton; they're seriously one of the most talented groupings of entertainers in their respective field, but sometimes I get wracked with fits of incessant worryfagging whenever one of them seems tired or unwell. Knowing how much they work, and that a good chunk of them aren't in the best of health, I can't even watch them sometimes without being menaced by the fear. Calli touches me the most though, since she bears herself more readily than the other four (Kiara's a close second). I wanna scoop up her hurts and troubles and take them somewhere far away, and it harrows me knowing I can't help even the littlest bit.

For all their faults, deadbeats as an audience have the most character, probably owing to them being the oldest average age of all of Myth's fanbases. They're both dedicated to Calli, but not afraid to rib her and be more honest. It's one of the reasons she has improved so much over the year; for a while she was considered one of Myth's weaker members, but today she's arguably the strongest, right next to Gura.

Cumbuds are too many and too young to have any definite personality, teammates are a bunch of adhd-addled zoomers, takos are mostly intorverted artfags who are pretty risk-averse, and KFPers are a bunch of weird, overprotective cultists who pick up on how unstable Kiara is and struggle to adequately communicate with her in full honesty.

The carnival scenario was fine, though I will admit it was weaker than the party. Calli had intended to use it much later in the series when the hunter cell was better established, but the time / scheduling constraints forced her to shorten the overall campaign more than she intended. She was eager to use it, but wound up springing it too early. The doppelganger twist was good, but it was delivered a little clumsily. I was there for that stream, and the carnival notion was mostly her creation. The tier3 bois mostly came up with ideas for the rides and challenges, like the dolls.

I'm the guy who made and maintained the Huntermyth threads during their heyday, so I know everything there is to know about the project, and I can say with confidence what has hamstrung the project more than anything is player logistics, specifically Kiara. Had she not been deported back to the Euroslurps, only two regions would need be considered instead of three damned different timezones. The best TTRPG sessions generally run 5-10 hours. The hobby shines best when done in longform, which is why the best sessions so far have been the longest.

I could go on about Huntermyth until the next stream. I love and believe in the project to a religious extent. I'm sad to see it's winding down, but considering how experimental the project was, it has been an excellent and enjoyable experience so far. Blogpost over.

It all comes down to who the party would consist of.
>optimal roster: Gura, Ina, Fauna, Kronii / Bae
Gura has been a natural in the hobby so far, and Ina has been surprisingly well-placed as a low-impact, details-oriented character. Lots of people wanna be the superstar; Ina is content in a supporting role. She also brings in the art community, which has been huge for Huntermyth. Fauna has TTRPG experience, while either Kronii and Bae would fit nicely in the final slot. It's also two timeslots to consider, although I'm not sure where Fauna is located, but I'm guessing she's in North America.

I feel bad crossing out Kiara and Ame. Kiara has been my favorite since she has really grasped the game's mechanics quite well and has made an effort to RP to the best of her ability. Her location just fucks everything up. Tiara has been an excellent defacto leader / straight man of the party. Scout's too much of an unhinged sociopath to lead, Ina's way too reserved to step up in a group collab, and Ame unfortunately hasn't been as engaged in the project as the others. I like Watoto, he's surprisingly well-rounded for a character, but TTRPG is a game of patience, and Ame has zero patience.

Luckily Council/IRyS only really have two "timezones" between them, Aussie and JP time for Sana, Bae, and IRyS as well as Mori, and NA for Kronii, Fauna, and Mumei. Having Bae or IRyS in the party would give more leverage for a more JP friendly time which might make things easier on Mori as well.

Also I agree having Gura or Ina stay on would be great as they are pretty much up to speed on how things go and take more a role to help lead the others and with Fauna having TTRPG experience we would only have 1-2 complete newbies.

If I had to put chips on someone coming back, I'd go all in on Gura, and a 60/40 chance on Ina. Kiara would also be a hard lock if she could get back to glorious mother Nippon somehow; she enjoys the project immensely, but every session screws her sleep schedule up (especially the party, she didn't get to bed until 6am). As it stands now, she's bowing out for good, though not entirely of her own choice which is heartbreaking to see.

A mixed party would be best. Get the most ardent Holomems in there, be they from Myth, Council, or even ID (Ollie, Reine, and Anya would be excellent). Trying to get only Council in for a Council-specific campaign would risk another Watoto or two; that is, someone who's there for duty, not for the love of the game.

This anon gets it. If they could all sit down at 11am or 12pm, they could run a 4-6 hour session each week and show the frauds at CR how it's really done. As it is now, Calli is taking on the short stick of the timing, having to get up at 5am or not sleep at all. That shows it's a labor of love for her, but it's hard on her.

I'm posting this separate in case she sees it: for the hand she's been dealt, she's done an excellent job with this TTRPG project. This is a passion project for her, and more than the product itself, I love seeing her engage in some self-actualization like this. It's inspiring and touching.

Mumei has gotten an order of magnitude better since she got over the debut jitters that were haunting her the entire first month. I liked her since early on, but early Mumei was... a trip. She has Gura's wit and brand of oddness while being much more reserved, plus a dash of Mori's morbid sense of humor. I'd say her appearances in Mori's call-ins (Jump King, Minecraft, Pokemon) should give you a pretty solid read of her personality on their own, plus her interactions with Kronii for how she's like with other people she's clearly comfortable with.
