Something like this is not easy to answer. I am interpreting from your post that you're antagonistic of the idea of conforming to a certain shape, but that more or less might be the answer for me, as there is a "female" shape. As I do appreciate some thickness, perhaps into a more "extreme" zone for me such as >>1453779, I do have my limits as it must still generally follow the shape of a woman. I view pudge mostly as an extension of the woman. When we start getting to the realm of "big squishy guts", then I mostly perceive that as just an overflow of fat rather than a more natural surplus of meat. As you mentioned, I do like the texture and warmth especially, and I abhor muscular women for this very reason. Soft and squishy will always be preferable to hard and rough.

Also, while I know these are fictional characters, I often have to take into account the health or mobility related issues with having too much added weight. This is partly why I find blobs and immobile designs to be off-putting. I suppose in a way it almost demeans them to that of fattened pigs ripe for slaughter rather than a sapient person.

I've seen artists do both, and even musicians can remix a song without caring for the source material. Yes, sometimes you can tell when they phone it in but when dealing with smut, all you need is a general idea of their mannerisms like accent and temperament and it'll be enough to get off. There is no incentive to write better than the original author most of the time.

There are even fapfic authors that deliberately break characterization for headcanon instead, and just seem to write better than what the original character would let them. So, honestly, it's just a mixed bag and it's just easier to find a fic to nut to rather than pay somebody that would write about as good as an AI Dungeon episode.

After about five minutes of unsuccessfully trying to calm them down by telling them about her daily fifteen minute calisthenics regime and how she’d halved the volume of her brunch and evening snacks, she only succeeded in getting them even more riled up. At this point, she was fairly sure they were just caught up the mood and messing with her. She decided to cut things a little short.
