Why are people praising holox's talent when they're former 2views and don't seem to show much talent for anything besides riding a buff? They were born with the biggest silver spoons in their mouth in history, 100s could probably match it in the same spot. It's a miracle of branding, not scouting. The one with the highest debut number(and the 6th highest vtuber stream of all time) looks like she will be 4th place in her gen and be lucky to average 7k in a few months.

I think it's Hololive taking over the JP market from Nijisanji. The level of growth that the main branch experienced probably engrained them to the tourist who were more than willing to jump in once a new gen was introduced just to get that rep of "knowing a talent when they just started". Holo's box pushing strat also helped to distribute some of the tourist to the other Holos, hence the increase in JP numbers across the board.

Here's some cover song ranking numbers since I didn't see it talked about.
For a long time Hololive was so far ahead in this metric that it was hilariously not worth tracking, the first week we tried, Holo had 5 times more views than the Niji top 50, but the song plays have been fluctuating heavier and declining for Holo while mostly being steady for Niji.
This week a lot of big new songs see Niji for the first time at least be close.
