The thing about hololive boxpushing is it takes up so much of one's watch time that you don't really have the spare time or mind to explore other (doubtless very good) options.

That said, it feels like the effect has been slowly fading since around the middle of this year, after Coco's graduation and Kson's revival. It helped that NijiEN turned out to be pretty good.
